Because it's never heated or processed, this honey retains everything the bees put into it:

Why does the colour/taste vary between batches?

Wild forest honey changes with the season and the flowers in bloom at the time of harvest — variation is a sign it's real, not standardised.

Is it normal for it to crystallise?

Yes, that's a natural property of raw honey. Warm gently (never boil) to liquefy again.

How is this different from regular honey?

Most commercial honey is heated and filtered, which strips out natural enzymes and pollen. Ours skips that step entirely.

Is this safe for children?

Not suitable for infants under 12 months, in line with standard honey safety guidance.
