Tulsi Honey

Tulsi has been used in Ayurveda for centuries to support the respiratory system and the body's natural defences. Combined with raw honey, this becomes a simple, daily wellness habit:

• Traditionally used to soothe occasional throat irritation

• Supports the immune system through tulsi's natural compounds

• Raw honey retains natural enzymes lost in heated, processed honey

• A gentler, natural alternative to refined sugar in tea or warm water

• Daily ritual: One teaspoon first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach

• In tea: Stir into warm (not boiling) water or herbal tea — high heat destroys raw honey's enzymes

• For sore throat: A spoon as needed through the day, neat or with warm water

• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Crystallisation is natural — warm gently (never boil) to liquefy

Why has my honey turned solid/cloudy?

Crystallisation is a natural property of pure, raw honey — it's a sign of authenticity, not spoilage. Warm gently (never boil) until clear.

We'd suggest letting your tea cool slightly first — high heat breaks down the natural enzymes that make raw honey special.

Is this safe for children?

Not suitable for infants under 12 months. For older children, please introduce in small amounts.

Should I refrigerate it?

No — store in a cool, dry place with a clean, dry spoon each time.
